Dental screening is a quick assessment by a Registered Dental Hygienist. They look inside each child’s mouth using a separate, sterilized mouth mirror and may also offer Fluoride Varnish application if recommended. If a child needs additional dental care, a form will be sent home, and the parent may be contacted by a dental staff member.
