You Belong Here

It is our mission to provide a community space that is safe and welcoming for children and caregivers. We support parents and caregivers on their journey of raising children by providing programming that is customized to the community of Caledon. This means honouring the unique needs of every family.

At BrightStart Caledon we are committed to fostering a sense of belonging at every touchpoint. By providing a space where everyone is welcome, and united under a common goal of making children, parents, and caregivers feel supported.

Our Equity Commitment

For over three decades, BrightStart Caledon has offered a safe, central and welcoming meeting place for the young families of Caledon—a place to learn, grow and feel connected to the community. Our culture has always encouraged staff and families to try new things, collaborate and communicate openly.

Today, as is the world around us, Caledon is going through significant change. More and more people are coming to Caledon to live and raise their children. BrightStart families come from all walks of life and so does our staff. We are all unique and our diversity makes us stronger.

BrightStart Caledon draws on both similarities and differences and uses our collective unique experiences to provide a wide and varied approach to family support and learning. We firmly believe that our similarities bring us together, and our differences help us grow.

Belonging is one of BrightStart Caledon’s core values and strengths. Our commitment to equity, inclusion and continuous organizational learning is identified as a priority within our strategic plan, and we have dedicated resources to move us to action.

With the voices of our families and an increasingly diverse and evolving community leading the way – as our world changes and grows, so will we. We are grateful you are here, walking with us into a shared future of opportunity.
