A bi-monthly support group for those sharing in the journey of raising a child with diverse abilities aged 0 – 8.
This group is parent-driven, providing families with resources, networks, and information to prepare them for the joys and challenges of raising a child with diverse abilities. Connect with others, gain perspectives and share, while considering the many unanswered questions parenting a child with diverse abilities brings.
Group activities will focus on building the capacities of families in a safe, confidential, and respectful way. Children will enjoy playing and social activities. Parents can engage in knowledge, and resource sharing. Professional collaborations and guest speakers will take place.
This program includes all members of attending families. Siblings and extended family members are welcome.
