Fund Development Committee, Nominating and Governance Committee

With a career spanning public policy, economic development, family mediation, and strategic marketing, Lisa Saroli, B.A., AccFM brings a unique blend of empathy, vision, and leadership to her role as Board Director at BrightStart Caledon Family Centre. As an accredited Family Mediator in Caledon, Lisa is deeply committed to empowering families through informed, compassionate conflict resolution.

Her earlier leadership within the Ontario government included advancing policy on youth skills training, entrepreneurship, and international investment attraction. Lisa also brings valuable governance experience from overseeing large-scale funding programs and strategic economic initiatives designed to uplift communities.

Her academic foundation—a B.A. in Political Science and French from York University, with additional certifications in marketing, sales, negotiation, and economic development—complements her hands-on expertise. She has guest-lectured at Seneca College and York University and continues to volunteer in life-changing initiatives such as facial reconstructive surgery support through the Face the Future Foundation.

Lisa serves on the Governance and Funding Committees for BrightStart, where her strategic mindset and lifelong dedication to community well-being directly benefit the Centre’s mission to support families and children in Caledon.
