My professional background is in Public Administration and Political Science. In recent years, I have specialized in non-profit and regulatory Board governance, including by-law and policy procedures, and legislative protocol. I wanted to contribute my time and expertise to a cause that was local and meaningful to me. I have a young son, and have navigated several challenges that come with being a working mom. I bring my son to the EarlyON often, and recognize that it is a space for us to feel safe and welcomed.
I truly believe in the well-being of children and families in our community. The mission and vision of BrightStart Caledon Family Centre resonates with me now more than ever before as a first-time mother of a young child. As a resident of Caledon, I want to feel locally connected to neighbours and fellow parents in my community, and I’m inspired by BrightStart Caledon Family Centre’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging.
