BrightStart Caledon Connections Launches to Support Caledon Families in Accessing Community Supports and Services
Caledon, ON – Families in Caledon with young children now have a new way to access trusted information, guidance, and community supports with the launch of BrightStart Caledon Connections, a centralized intake, information, and referral service designed to help families find information, supports, and community resources.
BrightStart Caledon Connections provides a tailored welcoming entry point for families seeking guidance on parenting supports, community services, and local resources. Through personalized intake and relationship-based navigation, families are connected not only to relevant programs and services, but also to one another, strengthening community ties, reducing barriers to access, and supporting families in finding their own path forward.
“Families often tell us that navigating services can feel confusing and overwhelming,” said Tracey Stewart, Program Manager. “BrightStart Caledon Connections was created to reduce those barriers by offering a single, welcoming point of contact that helps families find the right supports at the right time.”
BrightStart Caledon Connections Network supports families by:
- Offering individualized intake and referrals based on family needs and priorities
- Strengthening connections between families and community partners
- Supporting equitable access to services across the community
Grounded in inclusion, accessibility, and collaboration, BrightStart Caledon Connections reflects BrightStart Caledon Family Centre’s commitment to supporting families through responsive, strengths-based approaches.
BrightStart Caledon Connections is funded through an Ontario government grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), an agency of the Government of Ontario that supports community-driven projects that strengthen people’s sense of belonging, well-being, and engagement.
