April 19-25 is National Volunteer Week 2026. During #NVW2026 and during this week we like to recognize and celebrate the many ways our BrightStart Caledon volunteer team strengthens our work. From governance and program support to front-line assistance, child-minding, fundraising, event planning, and creative contributions, the impact of our volunteers is everywhere.
As we celebrate, we also want to recognize that 2026 has been declared International Volunteer Year, offering a unique a yearlong opportunity to honour the power of civic participation and celebrate Canada’s culture of volunteering. In Caledon and communities across the country, the contributions of volunteers ripple outward as a powerful, ever-evolving force for good. Their generosity and commitment make a lasting difference, and we are deeply grateful.
